Description
Goraka is a fruit in the mangosteen family native to Sri Lanka. It grows o large trees that produces small pumpkin like fruits that are harvested and dried. Goraka are the dried peels of the fruit. Sometimes it is called Malabar tamarind and is one of the main sour spices used in Sri Lankan and south Indian cooking.
